The PEEF Chief Minister Merit Scholarship (CMMS) Program is a scholarship program offered by the Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) in Pakistan. The program provides financial assistance to outstanding students from low-income families to pursue higher education, including international Ph.D. programs. The Eligible students must meet certain academic criteria & demonstrate financial need. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, and other related costs. The program aims to increase access to higher education for underprivileged students and promote social mobility in Punjab, Pakistan.
These Scholarships will be provided for Session 2023 and 2024.
Preference will be given by:
Punjab domicile Students. However, PEEF has also reserved a special quota for other provinces which are AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, and Islamabad.
How to Apply for PEEF Chief Minister Merit Scholarship 2023-24:
ELIGIBILITY:
• Valid Ph.D. admission offer in 1 of the current Top 50 QS Ranked (Subject Wise)
The Universities of the World, in preferred subject areas (https://www.peef.org.pk/cmms).
• Not less than 60% marks throughout the academic career.
• Declared monthly family income (including self, spouse, and parents) is equal to or less than Rs. 200,000/-.
• Maximum age of 35 years on 14th April 2023.
• Not availed of any foreign scholarship in the past.
• Take up the scholarship in which Years. it is offered & the scholarship shall not be deferred to the next year.
• All Pakistani Nationals; both males & females are eligible to apply.
Note: Permanent/ regular faculty members of public sector teaching/ educational institutions are not eligible to apply for CMMS Chief Minister Merit Scholarships.
